About Online JSON Viewer

getjsonviewer.com is a free tool for reading, formatting, validating and repairing JSON. We built it because the tools we kept reaching for were slow, cluttered with ads, and unhelpful when JSON was broken. Many of them simply refused to format and gave no hint why.

What we care about

• Your data stays yours. Everything runs in your browser. We have no database and no server-side processing of your JSON.
• Errors should be explained. Every syntax error is marked on its exact line and column in plain English, and most can be fixed in one click.
• Big files should just work. Validation runs in a background thread and the tree only renders what is on screen.
• No clutter. No pop-ups, no interstitials, no sign-up. Open the page and paste.
• Accurate output. Formatting works on the original text, so long numbers keep every digit.
